Insurtech International
Wits Innovation Lab company
Insurance software & automation

Automation, verified for insurance.

Insurtech International builds and licenses software for insurance carriers, agencies, and the regulated engineering teams behind them — spanning automated regression testing, producer licensing compliance, and continuous architectural governance.

What we've built

Three products, at three different stages — from live enterprise deployment to a completed build to active engagement.

PRODUCT 01

Dex Testing Studio

Active deployment

Dex tests policy administration systems the way a QA team would — except continuously, and without the ramp-up time. It ships with a pre-built product-knowledge library: rules that encode how a given insurance platform actually behaves under automated testing, so teams aren't hand-writing test logic from a blank page.

Dex is built today with deep, hands-on knowledge of Duck Creek. Support for Guidewire and Majesco is planned as the product-knowledge library grows.

You host
Your cloud & database
Infrastructure, Postgres, and artifact storage — screenshots, videos, traces — all inside your own environment.
We operate
Application layer
Orchestration, scheduling, and script generation. You never take physical possession of the source code.
Runs on-site
Lightweight agent
A thin client on your own machines drives the browser and executes each test run.

PII never leaves the workstation. Personal data is redacted at the point of entry — before it's stored anywhere or sent to any AI provider.

PRODUCT 02

NTI (NIPR Tool Integrator)

Completed

Before a carrier can transact business through an agency or an individual agent in a given state, that producer has to be appointed with the state's Department of Insurance — and the mechanism for doing that differs by state. Some states require a formal NIPR appointment transaction, some apply the same rules without a formal NIPR filing, and a handful run their own authorization model entirely. NTI determines the correct path automatically, for every agency and agent, in every U.S. jurisdiction — and keeps it current as producers' status changes.

It's built to handle real volume: a single appointment or a full Excel-based bulk upload, with row-by-row status so one bad record never blocks the rest of a batch. When a producer goes inactive, NTI detects it and files the required termination on its own — no one has to remember to do it.

Coverage
50 states + DC, Puerto Rico & the U.S. Virgin Islands
Appointment models
NIPR appointment, no-NIPR appointment, or state authorization
Intake
Single record or Excel-based bulk upload

Compliance-first by design. Every request and response is logged for audit, state rules are maintained by compliance admins without a code deploy, and a state with no configured rule is routed to manual review — never silently defaulted.

PRODUCT 03

Complai

Live engagement

An architectural decision drifts the moment it leaves the room: it's made in a meeting, becomes an ADR, gets summarized in Slack, and ships as something different from what was agreed. Complai closes that gap with Quorum — a continuous, reasoned, accountable memory that every stage of a decision's life reads from and writes to, so the why travels with the what all the way to production and back.

That matters more now that AI coding agents read and write against a codebase at machine speed — drift that used to take weeks to compound now takes minutes. Complai gives regulated engineering organizations one verified story that architecture, compliance rules, and shipped code all agree on.
